ok guys and girls. just need some information here. i have the chance to pick up an 85 250r for a pretty dang good price, but here comes the question.

i mainly only ice race my trike. which would be better on the ice as far as handling, reliability of engine, and being able to mod up for performance ? i have a 300 kit for my 84, but not sure how much more i can go past just doing the 300 kit and some porting. also sprockets are less for 84

also i have a chance to trade my slightly modded 84 250r for a 1987 lt250 quad racer. is this worth the swap. the guy want to trade even up for my 84.

kind of thinking of just getting the 85 250r and then trade my 84 for the quad racer,

need some help here, opinions from you all woould be great. going to look at 85 in like 2 days. !!!!!:wondering

if the lt 250r is decent i personally would trade....very very fun bikes to ride, and youll love the power it makes with that power valve motor... and also my preference i would go for the 85 250r. alot more after market for them, and they seem to hold their value better than the air foolers if you were to decide you werent happy with it in the future
