Hey guys, I have only really posted about my 250r trike so most people don't know I am into dirt bikes. My CR80R needs some attention so while thats out of commission I figured I'd look into a bike more fit for trails and found a KDX80. I have heard that these bikes have a smoother powerband and have great low end power while my CR80 snaps into the powerband hard and its almost like on-or-off power. I took it for a circle in the guys yard and this thing had awesome low end power. I was told it was a 1992 but I haven't verified anything yet. Fresh top end and a ton of compression, also has a fresh carburetor rebuild. Mechanically this thing is like new but the fenders had bad oxidization from the sun and it appears years ago someone repainted them green and its starting to chip. The seat is in great shape though especially for its age. Does anyone know if plastics from an aircooled KX80 would work on it? It has a modified Yamaha Blaster exhaust on it and looks like the one side cover wouldn't fit over it and they took it off and lost it before selling it to the guy I bought it from. Its a sweet bike and I'll have a video tomorrow130880

Yeah thats what I found out from my research. The bike did amazing at Busco Beach last weekend. That powerband is awesome and it has good low end for trail riding. I was hopping logs and going through mud all day
