don't weld anything! although it may look the same the north- south of the magnets may be different not to mention the position of the keyway. if you welded it how do you plan to get the timing right or adjusting it when its not?

the timing marks will mean nothing. put up a wanted ad, I'm sure someone will get one to you cheap just to not see you ruin the crank

Well it sounds as if you have it all fiqured out. Why come in here and ask a bunch of no nothings if your yamaha flywheel will fit on your honda engine if its just as simple as puting a square peg in a round hole.

You have two options, either listen to the advice here, or try it yourself and trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro it all up, then come BACK here and want to know how to get the dang welded thing back off. THEY ARE NOT INTERCHANGABLE, DON'T SCREW YOUR MACHINE UP TRYING. Please, don't take mine, or any one else here's advice, seeing as nobody here has the slightest bit of mechanical inclination and all.
