thorpe- do the tires off of your old wheels fit right on the new ones? sorry if thats a dumb question.

Yes they did... Thats the only reason I stayed with a 9" wheel. If it had needed tires (my BR came with 2 new mudlites) I would have gone to a larger wheel...

I made longer studs and a wheel spacer on the mill/lathe... Cant recall how much I had to space the front wheel to get it centered again... (should pull it apart and measure it someday... .200" maybe sticks in my head??)

Don't pull it apart on my account..just being an idea whore!!
Pretty happy with mine having the Bear Claws and the stock rims..
I liked the idea of the alloy rims when I saw Jason's rig..but the fact it was only the rear didn't suit me, also the extra cost! ..but sometime in the future, who knows.
Use your idea and I could keep a match set..
Quick, simple..I like it!

If I couldnt have all 3 matching, I would have had to restore the steelies... I cant handle mis-matched wheels and tires... Thats also why I had gone and put the Mudlite on the front (which it steers great) because I couldnt handle the knobby... (anal-retentive I guess) I have been real happy with the wheels and tires though...
