350x Mikuni Flat Slide swap help!!!!!

Im trying to install a 38mm flat slide carb on my 350x. Anyone know what cable and throttle to use? A twisty or thumb is fine. What about a good jetting starting point. I have a 10.5:1 piston, mega cycles next to biggest cam, lightened flywheel, exhaust, and a k&n without the box lid. Im broke so i cant go buy a crap load of jets.

I used a TRX450R (2005 I think) throttle cable on my 350X . But then again I'm using a 38MM Kehin (spelling) FCR pumper carb.(Not a Mikuni). It works flawlessly . Nice crisp throttle response. And added a bit more kick to it. (I've got a stockish motor so I didn't get the full affect of it since it isn't built much at all).


I believe your using a 2 stroke mikuni? I'd go and a get a FCR 37-38mm carb off a newer 250F (or R) 4 stroke dirt bike if I were you. Its been done. (So there's people you can ask about the swap.)

Im not sure about the numbers but I know my 38 numbers involve a pj and that would mean its for a 2 stroke
