60s to some 80s mostly, but there atleast one song in every genre, and generation that I like.
Slipknot, Mudvayne, Prong, Metallica, Megadeth, Type O, Slayer, Chevelle, Tool, Floyd, Five Finger death punch, Mahogany Rush, Hendrix, Bloodhound gang, Heart, Flyleaf, Fleetwood mac, Pink (yeah I know but some of her stuff is cool). I actually have a wider variety listening range. Something like 600 songs on my ipod. I just hit shuffle.
More metal than anything. It actually calms me down.
Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, Marty Robbins, Conway Twitty, Don Williams, Vern Gosdin, Joe Cocker, Bob Seger, Traffic, Jimi Hendrix, Clint Black, Randy Travis, Black Sabbath, Ozzy, Rolling Stones, Beatles after they discovered drugs, G-N-R, Jerry Reed, Ect.
Pretty much anything classic country and classic rock.

I really love alot of things and you guys above me really nailed it. One thing i did not see that really is Number 1 to me is System Of A down.
They are a love or hate type of music and for me its an obsession for the last 5 years that has evolved to Serj Tankian and Scars On Broadway.
I really like anything that is filled with lyrical and emotional passion, an artist thats an artist and is filled with talent.
If it has meaning ill listen to it any genre or style.
anything from Country boy can survive to Eminem.

I think its ridiculous for anyone to be against, and have choice words for an entire genre. Shows your not truly into music and fail to acknowledge and/or decipher different talent. They don't study 2pac's music at college universities for nothing. With that said, I listen to alot.
