225 dx hop ups

so as some of you have helped me give some advice on what all i should get for a rebuild, but i was wondering if there was anything performance wise that could be done for a 225 dx, i know its not race trike, but i like the mud so i know tires would do that, but is there anything that could be done to one of these?

High compression piston,pipe,high flow airfilter(not a K&N if you ride in dusty areas)jet kit,wheel spacers and 20 inch low profile tires will make it feel like a sport trike.

if i would go for the 20 in tires, how would that do in the mud? i was looking for things to help in the mud, it seems like it does not have enough wheel spin to clear the tires

What kind and size of tires are you running? I have 22 inch strykers on my stock dx and it turns them ok in 2nd in thick mud. Big heavy tires wont do you any good if you can't spin them fast enough to clean them out. Do the mods I listed above and you should be able to spin any agressive 22 inch tire you want very hard in 2nd gear. Any thing bigger and heavier I'm afraid your gonna be sticking in 1st gear in thick mud and thats no fun if you can't hit your freinds with a huge wall of roost.:lol:
