atc 250r shock question and throotle cable

Im almost finished with mine i just need to get the rear shock reworked . I dont no were to send my shock to have it rebuilt im 220 pounds so I need alot heaver spring and my bump stop is gone.I really dont want to buy a new one 1200 is just to much for me to justify as much as i ride. I also got a emgo twist throttle on my 250r the cable is weathered and the rubber is falling apart it says barnett on it but no part number i would buy a new one but i really like this one are emgo and motion pro the same thing.

The TRX spring is about an inch shorter.

I took mine all apart, set it up in the vice and filled the bumpstop area with "Shoo Goo" It's lasted hundreds of jumps so far........... It shrinks, so an hour later I added a bit more to the cup so the 2 pours would melt together. Jeswinehart probably has a perfect compound for this situation.

Many of us don't want to tear the whole shock apart........

i think It has to be torn down regardless the shock is in perfect working order im just to heavy for the spring i think the stock 250r spring is for about 150 pound rider im 220 pounds.I have progressive suspension in the front and its about perfect.
