are 86/87 tecate durablue axles still available?

this image sparked the question...part number 20-1144SP? did they discontinue and then reuse the same part number? or will these fit?

the tecate tag says +6 the one in the link is a +4. if it is an actual picture on dennis kirk,It's not even close. I'm thinking its a recycled number or DK may have put up the wrong#

i checked elsewhere and durablue site has it the same - part number that is. ill probably try and call durablue to find out if they know. its +6 for the tecate, but i dont know if thats +4 for another bike - see what i mean?

anyone with a KSV/KFX or other bike on that list can verify the spline count on the axle?

I do see what you mean. you peaked my interests I think I will try to do a little homework myself. My experiance with direct contact with dura blue has been good and they are always helpful.

That was easy to figure out. same part # different axle. has to be a recycled number. the new part number axle is only splined on one side for sprocket/rotor hubs and was pretty clear why when I looked at the oem parts fiche... Its a shaft drive quad. It was worth a closer look though

thanks for taking a look at that. was worth a shot. when i saw the part number was for kawasaki models i thought i was on to something.

here is what i got back:
No, the 20-1144sp will not fit your bike.

I don't recall having used this number before, but apparently I did. The '86 3 wheeler was a one year only model, as far as the axle was concerned. I make one small batch which I wound up junking for lack of sales (about 10 years after making them-mid 90's).

one small batch. hmm is that 10? a 1000? I know I have a +6 and have seen others. I would like to find that junk pile though
