Suddenly I'm in the apartment business.....

The local sheriff has an 80yo secretary and she's cold but a wonderful woman. She a nice lady, I want to hlep her, she is cold in the building.

The indoor plug has a ground on the bottom, a verticle (volt plug) and one leg next to it which is at 90 degrees.

From what I find, it is 120V, but European style. (E124162 and SP-009) are on the plug - this is a heat pump but no wiring diagram and outrside might be 230V, but indoors, may be 120V- no diagram, I'm lost,. A search shows it as 115V - I just want to help the lil ole lady.....

I tore the cover off. all the other cord covers and got no information........

I just want to help her. I think indoor is 120V/outdoor 230V and unfortunately I couldn't find a model # or maker (SAMSUNG ETC) as of now

Any help - (THOUGHTS!!) would be great, it's the indoor plug I wanna start with(hoping outside is all set)

Thanks for any help!!!!!! Man, if I just had a model or wiring diagram, I'd be all set................

They sell adapters for those euro plugs. Most department stores would have them.
I don't know if that helps but it bumps the thread either way.

That is a higher amperage outlet. Go to a local hardware store and get the male end plug that fits it and a short piece of extension cord and the feamle plug to match what she has and go from there. It won't hurt anything as that oulet has a higher amperage breaker for it.

It's only 15Amps, the cord is OEM and #14

All it says is GE (Finally found that!~!) on it, no model or serial number anywhere. 1 leg goes to a run cap, 1 leg to a relay so I'm betting this is a 230V unit. It is the type of unit a Hotel would have, at 1st I thought it was a split but as I sat outside I said "You idiot, the condensor is in the unit!"

I may just chop the end off and put on a 230V plug and give it a shot. Damn, I just want to see a wiring diagram or serial number...............
