Moved from Reno to Washoe Lake/Valley last week. Pretty awesome location, just a few miles east of the Sierra Nevadas, I'm surrounded by miles upon miles of rugged trails that wind thru some pretty scenic Northwestern Nevada mountains. Best of all, I can ride to these areas from my house!:Bounce:w00t:
Went for a good ride yesterday, thought I'd share some pics and a video.
Sorry about the lousy video quality, my camera is kinda crappy, but the pics are better. :pics:
The 200X is still running strong and hasn't leaked a drop of oil since I replaced the burnt exhaust valve, honed the cylinder, lapped the valves, de-carboned the top-end, and replaced the head and cylinder gaskets. It does idle fine, I just forgot to switch the fuel petcock to the on position when I started it in the video. Dammit Also, in the video some of my narration is garbled, and what I said was that right over the the Sierras to the west is Lake Tahoe, about a 40-50 minute drive away.

I admit most of the trails are pretty rocky, and aren't the best for triking, but there are plenty of sandy sections to slide the rear end on, and also a few dirt bowls, one flat track (that I know of so far), and some interesting sand and gravel pits to play in too. Here are some pics of a surreal looking red gravel pit I found. I believe it is that red volcanic lava rock commonly sold at landscaping supply places.
