Somebody fix my Facebook

I am at a loss. I spend a lot of time on the computer. My job can get very slow and boring at times and the internet is my only outlet to the outside world during a slow day at work or a rainy evening at home (I live alone). I spend most of my time on here and on Facebook. As you're all well aware, Facebook made a massive format change yesterday and I got on today and was completely lost. All of the things my friends posted were jumbled up and in no particular order as far as when things were posted. It used to be all chronological. It's as if I'm stuck in the "News feed" for those of you who know what that is. I even posted something on there asking for help and nobody has replied. I'm fairly certain I haven't gotten any replies because nobody can see my post. I am pretty heated about this whole mess. :wondering

OK, I just got on there now and other people's statuses seem to be in order now. I didn't change any settings or anything. I'm so confused...

Love to help John, Go to Account settings, click Language, then select Englsh UK. That is the only way to somewhat clean it up.

Edit:Edit: They appear to have changed those settings as well now. FTW

I have a feeling facebook will continue to screw up their site on a weekly basis until people will pay for it. They never know how to leave it alone.

Well, I've been on Google+ for a while now and it's clean and simple. Now I just am prodding my friends to join. The enrollment is open for it now too. If you are interested, just log on to www.google.com and click on the upper left hand corner link on the page.

I can't stand the facebook either, its a mess.
I don't like changes lol

hopfully we all adjust like before, its not the first time they have changed stuff, this is just a major change since news feed is the major component of facebook.

I got this today and it seemed to help-

Not sure if you all seen this yet but it seams to work. HOW TO GET YOUR FEED BACK TO NORMAL AGAIN. if you want your feed to go back to normal go to your account and go to notifications. At the top right is a box that says email frequency. Uncheck that box and your feed will show all the posts again. Then go to your home page and anything in the "Top Stories" click on the down arrow in the upper right and "unmark as top story" - now your newsfeed will be setup by timestamp rather than randomly picking "top stories"

Mr Mark Zuckaburgashmoncker *(SP?) has made some changes which probably affected everything..............

It will all get sorted out soon I'm sure.
