Ok just installed my new dg exaust for my 200s, had no trouble starting it when I had the other exaust on,I was running a cobra exaust without baffler ,it was very loud, also it has new carb and few other goodies,I'm need to adjust the jets I don't know, do I have to buy a jet ket, like for my 350x

I'm slightly confused by what you wrote, but basically you have a hard starting 200S is what you're saying. Correct jetting is key with an aftermarket exhaust and you seem to know that, so you're headed in the right direction. Another thing to check would be the clearance on the valves. Improperly adjusted valves will make for a hard starting machine especially when it's hot.

I've heard about people trying to figure out correct jetting when aftermkt muffs are used.

If the cobra baffle fell out, it might just change the carbs breathing rate and jet needs.

I had to ride about 4 miles to find mine.
GF was riding it and didn't 'notice' that the trike got louder
when it spit out the baffle.

If it DID run right, try to go back to that magical combination.

Oh wait, you say it ran with the cobra but you now have a DG.
Try the search key here for 'jetting' or 'new exhaust jetting issues' or some combination.

You simply will increase your main jet size till you have a nice color on your plug,,,down there,,a nice dark brown. Then it can get complicated because your 200S prolly already has a wooped carb... I have had very little luck rebuilding them over the years,,the slide and venturi wear out.. I would throw a new ebay special on it,,and go from there,,$30 shipped,,I think?

You have to increase the pilot jet also. That controls fuel up to 3/4 throttle.
