LOL, I'll try.
Wash the trike well and make sure the engine is very clean, Wait until it is dry and then park it on a clean floor in a well vented area, set up a fan and face it towards the front of the engine to keep it cool. Start it and let it run for 15 or 20 min. or less if you find the leak. Blip the gas every few minutes to keep the top end lubbed up. Odds are you'll find oil on the floor soon, look up and trace the leak to the highest point on the engine that you see oil. If no oil leaks, rev the engine up a few times and check if there is any oil spitting or smoking from your pipe. If not the only place left to look is your counter sprocket. There is no other place oil can leak out at the rate you are implying with your comment.

Had a 225dx throwing it into the airbox, but then it eventually found its way to the garage floor.

what did you do about the 225 with the oil coming out of the air box?I'm not sure what he did but that would be red flag for excessive blow by or too much oil in the engine case. assuming the engine had the proper oil level it would need piston/rings

Yeah I guess I should have elaborated, eh? Ultimately it was over pressure from a gaffed up screen behind the oil drain plug..... New screen and voila! No more blow by!

I don't understand. Are the rings and piston not oiled with "splash" from the crank? If so, how would a plugged oil system cause blow by?
