well fellas i just got a 84 honda 185s, its my new project...i paid $100 and it runs great... the tank was rhino lined today, the plastics are getting the same tomorrow. snorkel,crankcase breather, extended forks, rear lift, bigger tires, winch, are on the way! also going to make a custom fog lamp for the front. ill have pictures up tomorrow!:cool::cool::cool:

what's rhino lined tank?

Is that for the inside?

it's that tough bed liner.put it on the outside, no more worries about scratches i guess. seen a show where they rhino lined a concrete wall and then blasted it with a bomb and it held together keeping everything basicly intact. was one of those post 9/11 shows, can't remeember what it was though.

I have line x in the back of my truck. Stuff is bulletproof. Good idea. ( same as rhino lining ) Can't wait to see pics.

Are you a Rhino dealer,or is it generic,,or can you buy Rhino now without being a dealer?

I'm pretty sure 83 was the last year they made 185s's. It was the only year they had front suspension. Can't wait to see the pics of this beast! 185's are a blast.

I cant wait to see pics and possiably get some ideas. But mullet is right 1983 was the last year they produced the 185s.

yeah u guys are right on the year. i had a mistype lol. but to answer a few questions no its generic lining. and i have yet to figure out the rear lift yet? any ideas?

a 185 does not have rear suspension unless its custom or the kit rihgt?

so do you have suspension, or are you looking to leave it a hard tail and just raise it up somehow?

i would just go with larger tires for a rear lift. in all reality a 185 is so light they wont get stuck in mud often, even without a lift. just my opinion

i had to cancle the project...the wheeler had a hole in the case that i didnt notice so i sold it :(
