hey hey,,,
i have just come across a nice 84 honda atc 200x.
i recently just got it running and it is running
like a champ....
some of the things i have done/replaced so far:
new carb
complete removal and cleanout of the gas tank.
changed the oil 3 times
ran some seafoam to help with the cleanout
new spark plug
new front tire
2 new tubes in the rear tires
some basic maintenance of cables.( tightening clutch cable ect.)
new air filter
i have a few questions about parts that i am trying to find.
i need a muffler... just wondering if i have to find a stock muffler
or can i use an after market? i am asking because i want to get
a muffler that i can basically just slap on with out having to do
any kind of carb adjustments and such
and i am also looking for the rear master cylinder ... possibly just a
kit due to the fact that i still have the housing. i have seen kits online
but my main problem is the piece that connects the piston to the pedal.
i cant seem to find this anywhere. from looking online i believe it is called
the brake rod joint. worst case scenario i can fabricate something to make
this work...
any tips/websites would be greatly appreciated
thanks
