85 200x idles but boggs

My 85 200x boggs when u give it gas. I thought maybe, jetting or rip in carb boot to engine. Any thing i should check

Faulty choke. See if it changes when you move the choke lever up and down.

Make sure you don't have bad gas or water in the tank
