Well after a long absense from the trike world, I'm back. I picked up another 350x last night after taking a few years off. I got a pretty good deal on it, the kid was asking $1200 and I picked it up for $530:lol: It needs a bit of work, but nothing major. Going to do a complete restore on it this winter and just keep it in the garage. I kicked myself in the ass after selling my last 350x which some of you might remember. It was damn near mint but I picked up a pair of 450r's and lost interest in the 3 wheeler. But this one won't be going anywheres. Here's a before picture.

I'm going to pick up a PRM grab bar, and some fork boots tonight after work to get it looking halfway decent for now. I got the original rear garnish (mint condition which I was super pumped about) and the original tool box, spare stock exhaust and brake light. Should be a fun little project for me. Going to go for a mint oem look with a few goodies, nothing crazy.

Looking forward to talking to you all again!

Of course! Probably won't ride it much, but it will get ridden no worries of that :)

Airman,
Is it true that once you drive a 350x you never want to drive anything lower then that? like 200s or 110's, even 250r's. I never had the 350x beast but would like to someday have one.

This is my 3rd 350x, I love them. Although coming from my old race quads the 350x seems gutless. For me, I grew up with them and I got a great deal on this one and a chance to save it so I jumped on it. However it is so much fun to ride, and to me it's one of the best wheelie three or four wheelers I've had the chance to ride.

Cool!

Dad's like 5 min from Rogers rock and can ride right to the logging roads from his house.
He'd love to ride with youse guys.
He's an old timer woodsman with a yama trike 225 I think.
Looks like a nice project esp if you have something (else) to ride too.

Huh, that's pretty cool. I own a logging company these days so I'm sure he'll fit right in. I just picked up the PRM rear grab bar, a new UNI air filter, and NOS OEM blue fork boots :) I also cleaned up the rear garnish, here's a pic.

I actually took it off the jack tonight just to ride it around quick, man the previous owners destroyed this thing. I'm glad that I got a hold of it to get it back going again. I decided I'm just going to fix all that's wrong with it for right now and just ride it a little bit before snowfall. So far the parts I've got that I needed to replace are New handle bars, NOS oem fork boots, PRM standard grab bar, and a UNI air filter, and new rear end bearings The more I look at this thing the more it needs...Still on the list of needs for now to get it in good operating condition are :
Front brake rebuild kit, chain case saver and cover, 4 new sprocket bolts, both seat grommets. I think that's about it then just a bunch of misc things. Then once I get bored with it this winter I'll strip it down and make it real nice :)

You drive things that have steering wheels.

That is correct. When I was 18 years old (22yrs ago) I was in the market for a 200X. A friend of mine bought a 84 200X out from under me (nice friend eh). I was a bit pissed but I continued to look. Then I saw a 350X listed in the paper. I went to look at it and bought it. It was basically a POS but the motor ran strong. The next weekend I took it out for its first real test right. Within moments I was in 6th gear flat out. Afterwards, I had the biggest grin on my face. Since that maiden ride I never looked back at anything smaller. Back in 2007 my nephew let me take his 200X to an ATV event as a spare. I didn't ride it until we were ready to leave and I took it for a cruise. It felt like I was riding a tricycle! LOL!!
