just curious, which thumb throttle is this? i went out and got a thumby $10 from the local 3 wheeler guy and this is what i got. the old man was inside (he can't get around too good these days) and his boy wasn't there yet, it was some younger guy there. the old man told me he had a 125 thumby and this guy must not know what to look for. i didn't think or realize till i got home that it wasn't right, so i'm gonna take it back tomorrow and see if this is the one the old man was talking about. if he doesn't have the correct one this will do anyway. something looks to be missing too, unless that part is on the cable. :wondering

i think it might be fate. when i pulled in their drive there was a ATC 70 sitting out. pretty rough looking, but basicly sound from what i could tell. i asked if it ran and if for sale and he said yes to both. started up in 2 pulls ran a little rough, but you could see from the clear inline filter it was running on fumes basicly. has the exhaust stright piped dumping out under left peg. sounded pretty mean. must admit that 70's thumping little 4stroke sounded sweet to my ears compared to the YT's tingy 2smoke.

ATC 90, 110, 185, 200, it fits many of those models. I have one on a 185 and a 200. It is missing the cable and there is a rubber insert that fits in the smaller hole.

You going to buy the 70?

ok, i figured it would work. just wasn't sure what it went to. i was thinking the 85 125's were black, plus there's a locating pin on the bars and nothing on this thumby that would lock onto that pin.

i can't decide what to do at the moment. the 70 is very tempting, but still want to get the Zinger project going and have to take the 125 in to get repairs done in a week or two. i'm still on the lookout for a decent 200x also. had someone tip me on a 200x that was fairly cheap, i was just a little late and missed it. :(

ok you said something about a rubber insert, so i just made this up real quick. rubber inspection plug for a drum brake, cut it down to length and used a heated .22cal shell to cut my relief for the cable. i think it should work.
