should i buy this ytm 200?

a guy in my town has a ytm 200. tank is good. tires are good (wooley boogers), engine i think is good but it may not be getting spark or gas i cant tell. the shifter is very loose, and the chain isnt hooked up. will shift into 1st but not second. cosmetics are beat, intact but scratched, faded and ugly. im not really interested in it since its a pull start chain drive yammy, but heres the deal he wants 150$ for it and its all there really, id plan on parting it out but if the shifter is a easy fix and getting started is too i might just fix it up and sell it as whole. so should i buy?

There is nothing wrong with asking other people whether or not you should buy something. That being said, it is kind of hard for us members to give our input seeing that we have no pics and we cant see it first hand. From what you have mentioned about this trike I myself would take a very examined look at it. It seems as if its basically needing a complete overall rebuild with it being so rough and the engine problems. If you are the type of person who could part or rebuild this thing then I dont see any problem of buying it. I would not pay thay price for it....see if you can bring him down some more. Mention the problems to him and what it takes to fix. This is just my opinion.
