No they won't fit, and they won't be better either. That's going backwards.. What is wrong with your forks?

Larger, stiffer, more adjustable. You can rebuild your stock forks, add stiffer springs or use a heavier weight oil in them. Jason Hall on the site makes the triples to use usd forks.

Inverts are not necessarily "Better" to the average rider, they are however in general more adjustable and fine tunable (based on the actual model of fork) with that being said you have to remember that the forks on your "R" were built with 25 - 30 year old technology so modern conventional forks would be an improvement over original equipment. Unfortunately none are an easy 1-2-3 bolt on upgrade and unless you have access to a good machinist (to make you a set of trees) your not looking at a very economical upgrade. I would rebuild your R forks and continue to use them, if you get to the point where you feel your suspension is holding you back then I would look into an upgrade. I would guess (conservatively) that 75% of riders aren't skilled enough to get any real benefit from putting modern adjustable inverts on a trike, dont get me wrong you do need a good functional suspension on your R but unless you really need the high-tech modern stuff I'd stick with the OEM stuff.
