O.k.- so I am trying to solve the issue of water entering my crankcase......... I know- its not a submarine:lol:-.... it enters fairly quickly, but I cant find nothing wrong. Anyway I replaced several seals/gaskets/orings -not all at once (and it still happens- my last 6 rides!) It never had this issue before and cant seem to find the culprit. I have found no problems. No oil leaks at all either. Anyway- I dont know what else to do to fix it so- I'm up to replacing now the coutershaft seal even tho it appears fine. My question is do you have to split the case? I dont know what else besides the shifter shaft but I doubt its that either.

If OIL isn't coming OUT,,Water is not going IN ! The only way you can be taking on water that fast is the breather hose. Wherever and however.

Well- I have eliminated the breather already. I blocked the lower hose and ran the hose up under the tank. It still happens. Besides - it didn't happen before-but I tried that anyway. So - I'm really baffled on this issue. No other way to narrow it down either. Any other ideas?

You could start it up while it is securely on blocks ( so it can't take off ). Have it in gear running medium speed and take a garden hose and spray the sprocket area for a while ( 5 minutes or so ). then check to see if you got water in the oil. You can test many different areas one area at a time. But remember if you had water in the oil already it takes a while to get it completely out of the system. Took me 2-3 oil changes last time.
