I can score stock wheels from a Kawasaki Brute Force with matching bolt pattern to my 250es. Is it required to run wheel spacers? Will I cause harm mounting the wheel backwards instead?
Fill me in. Thanks

Whats the offset of the wheel? You can turn them around backwards if you have to.

Jason kinda said it for you partner..we're not exactly quad guys here.
Find out the size of the rim and offset and we can help out with the math to figure out what spacers you will need..
Of course no harm will come from running them on the back with out spacers..but the front is the important one.

12" wheel 2+5 offset, backwards which would be 5+2. Mounted correctly it's too tight to the machine, clears the drum but rubs on the rear brake line wingnut.
Thanks for responding guys.

Put them the normal way around. A 2 : 5 offsett will clear fine... That's what mine are.

Here is where I am running into clearance issues:

That's trying to line up on the mounting bolts.
Here is backwards; Think the reverse tread pattern will hinder me at all?134389

Swap them left to right and the tread pattern reverses...but no it won't make that much difference on those treads.
If you like to wallow in deep mud consider taking your trailer hitch off..I find it hangs me up on some of those deep rutted trails.

Ha, after I typed that it made sense and I swapped left to right. And yea, I read that tip, or flipping it upside down. After checking stonewall's thread with 27" tires, I ordered two 27" MudLites from rockymountainatv, good price at $105 each. Keeping the front at 25" as I have a number of spares now.

I guess those wheels are 5:2 offset... Not 2:5. 2:5 fits fine, about 2 inches wider than stock with mine..

Not trying to hijack, but what offset/spacers would a person run on the front to run a 12" on a big red?
