just got my 200x running. I put a 185s engine with the 185s wiring harrness in the 200x frame. Since i needed a headlight bulb i bought a halogen bulb for a 200x. But now when i turn the light on it seems to be very dim even if revved. so my question is would it be the bulb since its for a 200 not 185??, a bad ground, or something else i missed

Kyle, The lighting coil on the 200s is not as strong as the 200x. If you get a lighting coil from a 200x that will fix it. The 200X bulb has more resistance.

I am pretty sure the 185s and 200s use the same lighting coil and bulb. I dont thing the 185s bulb will fit in the 200X headlight shell. I have a headlight from a 200s I can go out and look, but I wouldnt get my hopes up if I were you.

on my headlight where the bulb sits, its all chewed up anyway so my bulb is taped in...... i didnt know the 200x bulb needed more juice. i wonder if they make a halogen bulb for a 185.

The lens from the 185 might fit right in the 200x shell. Give me some time Ill go get it and have a look.

They are different size lenses and the bulbs are different bases. Sorry bud you are screwed. Ill look to see if I have any other 200x stators out there.
I know a guy that has a nice 200x headlight with the brackets and all of the bolts. LOL
