View Full Version : Newbie 1986 kawasaki tecate service manual
Hi im new to this fourm im from FL and I picked up a 1986 kawasaki three wheeler for $200 as a project. It has little to no compression but is solid just about every where else. Ill probably start working on her in a few weeks, Ive been looking for a shop manual for awhile now but with no luck. I searched here but i didnt turn up anything could some one please help me out im sure some one must have a pdf of it somewhere. Thanks, Gage

Welcome! Good to see another Tecate being brought back to life. Even if ratted out and thrown down a cliff, for $200 you couldnt have done wrong........ I hope. Lets see some pics! I think you can find the manual download in the Trikesylvania section.:beer

Nice score, but you might want to look into the 1984-5 manual because what you have there my friend, is an 84.:beer

You did AMAZING on that in my opinion. To rebuild a 2 stroke is cheap, and easy..

hey how can you guys tell its a a 84? drum brake, pegs. where the pegs mount. looks to have an 85 tank. nice score. I bet it hasnt been ridden in a long time,It has the old (dull)maier fenders that look to be in very good shape. the manuel is available here free I will get a link if monroe mike doesnt beat me to it.lol

ya thats what i figured it shouldnt take me long to get it running again, the guy originally wanted 800 but he was tight on cash/moving so I just shot him an offer. lol my family wasnt happy bringin it home but im going to make somthing of it. He also gave me an extra gas tank and two extra front fenders. I was lmao when i saw they were fetchin $100 bucks on ebay lol.
