View Full Version : What's the best sled to trade my big red for?

Hi All, How's ya all doin. i havent been on here in a while but i never had no internet but i can come to the public libary now durring the week to check stuff. in any case, i'm still trying to sell my Big Red, best offer i had so far was $500 or i might be able to trade it for a sled, i was just wondering what you Guys think? take the $500 or one of the Sleds, here is a list of sleds that one guy who is interested in my Big Red got:

1987 yamaha phaser,with ownership,needs seat recovered,choke cable,$500
1972 Ski-Doo Olympic 335 single,needs carb work and fuel lines for sure,$200
1977kawasaki snow jet,motor needs pistons,$300
1980 Scorpion Whip with ownership, just needs a windshield, great shape for year$500
guy is willing to take my big red as a Trade or partial Trade on one of them depending on witch one i choose.

Personally, I wouldn't trade your BR for any of them! As a sled enthusiast, I can tell you, none of those sleds listed are worth what your BR is worth.......Not even close.

the BR + 400 for all of them sounds like the guy has a pile of junk. It would be hard to even part any of them sleds

Well if I really wanted a sled for the winter and I didn't care to much about a br I would go with the phazer. I have an 85 and it would fire up at -40 with no choke (didn't have any choke cables). Never had a problem for over 4 years never changed the plugs either, and it is the newest sled on your list.

Put tracks on the back of your BR and a ski on the front!
