Im about to start a rebuild on 350x from the frame up. Going to be repainting everything and basicly make it new. Right now i have a dg and was looking for somthing better. I know the supertrap is better but i like how the hre header is not a pita to put on from what it looks like. I wont be doing any engine work with this build atleast until dc is able to do head studs again.

So has anyone got the one made by nick and have anything to say about it? 500 for a new stainless exhaust seems questionable to me. But, it issss shiny and why not stimulate the economy ;)

the shiney will only last for so long good buddy. Personally i would go with the ST. Alot of people on here have them, they are tunable and they sound darn good! Also a while back ago there was a member who posted a dyno sheet of all the popular exhausts back in the day and the supertrapp was in the top three (if i remember correctly) for making the biggest gains on a stock engine.

I can tell you this. If you use the Supertrapp and don't use a better air filter and re-jet your carb, then you are wasting your money. The exhuast won't help at all unless you get a better filter and re-jet the carb.

Definitely will need to jet with a supertrapp. I had to go up three sizes and could go one more for extra rich. I also read changing the amount of disks help with tuning but never tried.
