Hello fellow Forum members.

I'm the newest new guy here and wanted to introduce myself.

I just recently bought some land 30 minutes north of Houston decided it was time to get back into 3 wheeling.

I just picked up a 1986 250sx that is pretty close to "mint" condition. I plan on leaving it alone for the most part, unless I can find a rack for the back. Back int the mid 80's I had several trikes including 185s and a 200es and loved trail riding and conquering new lands!

I'm looking forward to learning some things from you guys and picking up an idea or two. I'm already on the hunt for trike number 2 for the better half.

Enjoy your Turkey Day!

racks rule!
Not easy to find (sx specific) and no one wants to drill holes in their plastics to mount them

There's a few of us looking for alternatives.

Welcome and happy new land to you.
Acreage can be fun but hide your trike or it will attract others
or multiply when you're not looking.

I read about someone fabricating racks that don't require drilling your plastic. I'll have a look around. Welcome. Pics?

welcome! and I dont know alot about the racks for SX's. Cant imagine how one would mount without holes though. Either way welcome and post up some pics of your 86!

The set up I seen pics of used the four bolt holes where the grab bar bolts on to. It looked slick. I just can't seem to find the thread.

Nice looking job on the rack. I bought a rack off Ebay but it turns out it fits the Big Red and not my bike. However, I like what you did there and might see if I can modify that rack to work in a similar fashion. Thanks for the tip!
