... t3 guys...bought a new t3 project need some advice

i just bought a 84t3 cheap.. the plan is to restore it within the next 2 years...certain things im looking for if anyone can help...i found the head pipe for it but no silencer what are u guys useing? i am a great welder and fab guy so it dont gotta bolt up...and second i know ive seen on here dudes going all in for new plastics..is anyone still doing this? if not does anybody have anything for sale..and last but not least my tank is faded bad..was gonna sand her out but id say its to far gone any body have a tip?or a nice tank for sale?thanks

As far as the silencer goes watch ebay or www.atvoverstock.com sometimes they have some pop up. Several people have bought and modded to fit a universal FMF silencer. There are sets of plastic floating around the site. The last group buy was a bit of a spur of the moment thing, I don't think there will be another anytime soon. Start a feeler thread about how many would be interested, you need 5 sets of 1 color.. The Mosh's can help you with that. The tank's are hard to find in good shape. Watch ebay for a nicer tank or dc plastics sells plastic tank covers, CEET still sells the fabric tank covers.

I have one extra tank that I am going to get rid of and will need a slight restore to look good. I will do the resto and take a few pics for you if you would like and Im sure we could work something out depending on how much time and the appearance of it when Im done, if you dont want the tank cover that is. I can probably have it done in the next few days.

thanks everybody...as far as the tank cover, im gonna say thats a last resort..it does look good on your trike though..can u take some more pics of it closer up please? and yea im def interested in a tank if u can clean her up good...pics please thank you
