Im interested in finding out who does good work with suspension. Im kind of clueless as to how to do any of it and personal time is limited. What setups work best for trail riding for a 200lb rider. Id like to have my forks and shock resprung and valved. Ive looked into ebr locally but heard they reuse old parts and pass them off as new. Im unsure of who to trust with my trike work :p

Progressive springs with a thicker fork oil up front is a pretty basic and cheap improvement. Your back shock may just meed a rebuild and recharge juat depends on what your gonna be doing with it and how much you want to spend.

I dont mind spending the money to get it where i want. Id like them built a little better though. Is a respring in the back neccessary or can thicker oil be added there too?

As stated above, Progressive brand springs and good oil are the only upgrades for the front forks. The rear shock can be rebuilt, or Works offers a "Heart Transplant" as well. I have my rear shock at Simply Suspensions as we speak getting a rebuild. I will post up when I get it back and let everyone know how it works out.

I got a quote from Laz at GT Thunder. He did my quad shocks and they work great. I will probably be sending my rear 200X one there soon.

GT thunder does very good work and will be able to set your shock up for your needs. A respring may not be necessary, but I would assume with a 200lb rider you would need a heavier spring than the worn out 26 year spring.

Is gt thunder a member here or is that a shop?

You can also use 83-84 250r fork internals better valving and 1 inch more travel.
