water pump

i need a water pump oil seal for the tri-z and i read that the banshee one is the same but i cant find the part number for it any ware does anyone know what im talking about

NO. A banshee one is NOT the same......go to any yamaha dealer and get a OEM one.....for a tri z...

What is different about the water pump seals Raffa? This is the first I heard they are not the same.

According to the Yamaha parts schematics, Banshee uses the same part number as the Z. If you order either or model water pump seal you will get a (93103-10168-00) part number.

I have used them before on Z engines and they held up fine. The aftermarket seals from K&S are really hard to get in the case VS. the oem ones. The OEM ones push right in with your thumbs, but aftermarket ones have to be driven in with a socket.

However, the mechanical water pump itself is different form a Banshee.

my bad,, yes the seal is the same ... thought he needed the pump also!

nope not the pump just the seal but after some more research i found that yes they are the same part number and a lot more
