Well, just like the title says. I have tried everything to get my 77 90cc to idlle but it won't. I even went so far as to remove the carb from my other 90 that runs mint and put it on but still - no idle?? Both bikes are stock.. I tried to advance and retard the timing as well but did not seam to help at all.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated - thanks in advance..
check for an air leak at intake manifold also check valve adjustment

Try new points. I have many of the US90 and replacing the points has done wonders in how they run.

I think I remember the spark advance plate on one of mine was stuck
It should be a spring loaded plate behind the points that's supposed to rotate
a little as the engine revs and return with 2 little springs.
Drove me nuts for weeks.
Do you have a manual?
May or may not be in there however.
EZ to clean/fix, no special surprises except for flying return springs

thanks guys, the points are brand new as of last week. The spark advance plate on mine seams to be working. Although, When I take it out is seams sloppy, like the springs are worn?? Not sure if this is normal or not.

Im having the same problem with my 110...If I give it a tiny bit of thumb it will "idle" so im going to try and adjust my throttle cable a bit so its giving it a very small amount of gas...still not sure if that is even possible but im going to try it....

you know whats funnny, when I turn up my idle and rev it, it does not want ot turn back to idle... Just high idle.. Very bizzare.. I am going to try trikeboss's method of adjusting the cable. Let us know if that works.

throttle cable can be a problem, also check for any leaks in the intake.

that should work for your 110 and his 90 just turn the screw coming out of the top of the carb if it has one if it dont you should be able to adjust it where it enters the throttle body and if its not there there maybe a section of the cable that iss adjustable and once you have it idleing with that use the idle screw to fine tune the idle
