New Member in NY!

whats happenin guys/gals?Just got out of the Army about a month ago and came back home to Naples,NY.I used to ride dirtbikes quite a bit about 4 years ago,enlisted in the army,sold my dirtbike and now that Im home,i called up my cousin who had a couple old trikes that have been sittin for about 10 years,in VERY rough condition.One is an 86 350x,the other is a 200x.The 200x is good for parts,no motor or seat/rear plastics,ill probably part it out.The 86 i took pictures of this morning when i started to tear it down for rebuild.I will post another thread with pictures and more detail to show you guys the progress on this thing!Picked em both up for $200.Lookin forward to using the site more!:D

jsmay thats awesome!When i rode dirtbikes i rode on some trails in Port Gibson out by Newark so once i get this beast goin again thats probably where ill be headed.A few buddies of mine like to go to a trail system in PA for a few days and camp out,its a killer time!Where do you ride at?

First off, thanks for helping to earn our country's freedom. Second welcome to the site and post up those pics of the 350x rebuild. I'm looking for the exact same bike and I'd love to see how another turns out.

Palmyra ny along the canal. Also they ride the ice on the irondiquiot bay. Gotta have paper work for that though. It's cool the cops come and watch too but sometimes dec looks for reg's. Stay in touch. I'm outta town till next week. How long till your up and running?

1ton it was an honor to do so,I wish i could still stay in!I got medically retired,had a parachute collapse on a jump and broke my shoulder now my range of motion is really limited!I loved the service!

The trail in Port Gibson runs near the canal as well.Im not sure how long it will be really,it depends on how detailed i want to get with the resto,im thinking itll be late winter early spring.I dont think i want to go with a top of the line rebuild yet (powdercoat etc) because i dont want a showroom queen,i wanna beat mine...lol...heres the link to the thread i posted with pics...its rough,but the motor is built very stout...

Thanks fellas!I already am addicted...lol...I love building stuff!The area out here is nice,middle of nowhere,ill be ridin up n down the dirt roads and through local unused fields once i get it goin!
