Well This one's been collecting dust in the basement for well over a year now so I thought I would finally get it started a couple weeks back. This was one of the three I originally bought in 07, ( http://www.3wheelerworld.com/showthread.php/62838-Wortwile-deal ). I rode it for a while and then ended up buying back the R I sold my brother and building the black and blue machine I use as my everyday rider ( http://www.3wheelerworld.com/showthread.php/96924-My-R-rebuild-1st-go-round-New-pics-on-pg-2 ).

I decided this one was going to be my trailer queen and started the parts accumulation, Ended up with all NOS plastics, did some horse trading with Buster brown for some Powder coating, Had all the hardware re-plated, etc etc.
This was a really good complete bike to start with so that makes life easier.
It's not going to be a perfect 100% NOS restoration, My pockets aren't that deep. My intent is to have a machine that represents what I couldn't afford as a teen in the 80's.
This is just the beginning, and it will probably take another year or so to get finished with the motor work and all. I've still got a few parts to search out and find but that is part of the fun.

Well it's been a busy summer and this project got a little lost in the workshop for a while. Had a good me day today and got the place cleaned up and did some more work on the R. I bump started BKM back onto his and his progress helped me get back onto mine. I'll let the pics do the talking.

Well its about time:lol: Looks awesome Ross. I should be pretty close to complete before too long because I have a few boxes and packages coming this week that will put a major dent in it. I hope mine looks this good it is stunning.

So is she gonna be a garage queen or are you gonna put it around a little?

Looks amazing Ross! Is that NOS or polished plastic? It certainly looks to be NOS. Are you gonna ride it with that on???

Not sure yet, It will definitely get started and ran, probably a special occasion type thing. I've got the black and blue mule to ride (it just keeps on giving). This may take a back shelf again as my oldest burned up the piston in one of the Blasters and My other R could use a freshening up this winter. Only so much $$$$$ to go around.

It is NOS, I have front, rear and shrouds, Was going to get my tank and headlight "Cleaned" if you know what I mean...LOL. See above for the riding part.
