I'm new to the forum and have learned a lot in the past 3 weeks since buying my first trike and starting to restore it. My issue is that I've got the most of the motor rebuilt now and getting ready to put it all back together and can't seem to get the timing CAP out? It just will not turn and it's slot is bigger than a normal flat head screw driver. What do I use to get it out without stripping it? I need to get it out to make sure I set the motor at "T" and make sure I line up the cam as well. Thanks, Chuck

Try using a coin or a big washer that fits in there snug and use a pair of vise grips to turn it.

Ok, I wasn't sure if it twisted out or if it popped out. I was afraid it twisted out. I tried to use a piece of metal and vise grips but I didn't want to push it and damage it until I new for sure. Probably gonna have to drill this one out. Thanks fellas
