i was just looking though some of my pictures, of where i used to work. Diavik Diamond Mine in the north west teritories of canada.i haven't been there for three years now. looking through these pictures miss it. but it sure is nice to be home every night now.1377231377241377251377261377271377281377291377 30

Thanks for the pics torque; awesome! I would like to have that Wolverine on my wall and snack on the 'boo! Only been as far north in Canada as Hay River myself. A little farther up in Norway. Been trying to get the wife to visit her Uncle in Inuvik. Not having much luck though. I bet there are a lot of trikes up there!

Thanks for the pics torque! I am an underground Diamond driller in N.Sask. and have had many opportunities to go drill in Diavik.

Nice Laker man! Definitely looks like a master!..actually nice wildlife pics period. I work at 777 mine in Flin Flon Man, doing exploration and definition core drilling.

139109139110139111this is how they get fuel and other goods into the mine when the ice road fails. the hercules was used to haul fuel from yellowknife to the mine site, 23000liters at a time. the chopper is an ex russian military built in the cold war it was designed to haul nukes around. it the largest long range heavy lift chopper in the world. the used it to bring in the rh200 seen in the pics above, they have to cut apart the brand new shovel into manageable pieces to fly it into site
