then we got serious... first thing with the Howser bar clamps the aluminum ferro has to be trimmed to 1'' 5/16 and the thickness of the rubber shoulder has to be removed from one bushing. Should look like the 4th pic just inside the rubber on both sides. Tighten em down and cut off the extra thred's.

then it go's from coffee to beer QUICK! go to mount the triples and the stem hole has a step in it not allowing it to fully seat on the lock nut. Rat Tail File to the Rescue! pic 6 is what the Howser clamps should look like.
then I took my retired Aussie duner plate and "many memorable races on that plate" used the fork stand offs with a DC plastic white tecate plate , trimming with a new razor.. a few rivets.. there was plenty of plastic on the plate to custom trim it ,,I left the top corners to protect my speed bleeders but cut the center out to allow movement of the cables...:D

well yes and no.. this is one off ,, tripples and axle yes,, 85sx forks yes. 525xc duel piston caliper ,, stock rotor. re drilled and re taped. these forks came from the first set of triz inverts ever back in 05! the lower fork leg has been cut. so major fabrication has been called in. to make every thing line up with jasons stuff... YES HALL'S PEFORMANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

those 85sx forks are not easy to come by, but seems like those are the only way to go, all the other 80's have smaller diameter tubes :(
