How do you tell a originial equipment tank from a aftermarket one. Does the honda tank have markings on it. Or under it.

Underneath the tank there should be a raised round dial that looks like a clock emboossed into the plastic with an arrow inside of it pointing to a certain number.
That is a factory casting stamp that indicates the build date of the tank. As fars as I know only the factory tanks had those.
