Tri-Z Pilot

I can do top ends with my eyes closed, adjust clutches, and I worked in a diesel garage where I used to replace wheel bearings, axles, brake drums, periodic maintenance, etc. for R model mack tri-axles. What I want to know is are the tri-z bottom ends a complicated thing to dissassemble and reassemble? I want to replace every seal and gasket, every bearing (except the one on the bottom of the connecting rod, If it needs replace I will have that done professionally). If I do decide to rebuild it myself, what will I need? Would I just need a flywheel puller and case splitter? Also, I have the 85 tri-z factory manual to help me out. I want to re-do my whole bottom end, but dont want to pay an arm and a leg, but I do not want to screw anything up in my bottom end.
