Tri-z, 86 gears in the 85 cases?

If you read my other thread you will know that I want to tear into my bottom end. I know someone that has the 86 gears that will probably part with them real cheap. What I want to know is will they fit in the 85 cases? If they do, will I need just the gears, or the axles they ride on too?

the cases are the same but you need parts schematics to see what parts are different in gear box, buy one :-D of those tri z cdroms on ebay for help, i`ve got one it was awesome when i was rebuilding my z.
