I have an '85 ATC350X NOS rear fender, any idea what these are bringing today? I know they're discontinued and I've seen some go pretty high on eBay, so I know it's definitely a high demand item.

300-600$ IMHO
The economy isn't helping you.
Just like our member who purchase a BOATLOAD of NOS parts, he realized quickly that people just can't pay for them no matter how long the drool is........................
I once saw a complete rear fender (fender, seat, and mudflap) fetching almost $1000 on eBay. I snagged an OEM 85 350X rear fender without the mudflap for $100 on eBay.

if its perfect/excellent NOS shape with mudflap. the best you could get... $1100-$1300...when times are good. if its in good shape $500-$600.

3WW may bring more $$ than EBAY at this point.
If it's perfect, Save it for 5 more years and get about 5K for it
It's just tough out there now aside from the heavy hitters..............

As the title said, it is NOS which means new old stock. It is in the original box, but has been removed a few times from what I can see. I know the market isn't the best right now, but the main reason for this post was to see what they're bringing and what to set my reserve at should I decide to put it on eBay. I can remember seeing them sell for over $1000 on eBay, and I can hold on to it until they can bring that much again, unless someone wants to trade me a full set of NOS ATC250R plastic for it.

Is it a first generation fender or second?
Meaning does it have the safety warning stamped into the rear center or not?

I am holding on to one also, and I was offered $1000 for it. I always thought that I would hold onto it till I could sell it for more than that. But I did agree to let it go to the right person for the right resto project. But the guy never called me back. And I'm OK with just holding onto it.
The last thing I wanted was to have some weinerhead actually put it on a rider. I wanted it to go on a showbike.
I wanted to see pics of his bike and here about what exactly his plans were for my prized NOS first gen fenders.
It was like an adoption. :)

The 86's (white) always went for a bit more...250r fenders were still selling for 1k recently ..Thats what I sold mine for! ..350x NOS rears are far more rare by at least a ratio of 500:1 given all of the New 250r rears sold over the past few years. All it takes is one person with the resources doing an NOS build and has been looking for some time. If its in the box and perfect you will find someone willing to pay 1K to 1500. The key is finding the person that needs it and making sure that person knows you have it. That takes time. Even if it doesnt sell on ebay on the first try it simply means that "person just didnt see it"

I had to look at it because I couldn't remember. It does not have the stamped warning label. Which one is this?

I know it's not the right thread for any kind of transaction, but after thinking about it, I will trade for a full set of NOS OEM ATC250R plastic (front fender, rear fender, shrouds and headlight bezel) for an '86.

Nope, never heard of them on the red 85 350X.
My 86 white OEM 350X rear does have the warning stamped in it. I only store it, to sell it.
I'll just break the damn thing....... By then Jeswhinehart will be making them for us

Those would be the later replacements, they are not as rare as the originals since they were made from 86 until whenever they stopped production, whereas the ones without the warning were made during the original 85 production run. The good thing is if you have the warning you could sand them down and re-polish it to remove it if you were so inclined.

There is 2 different shades of red on the 85 also. I would call them, orange/red,, and cherry/red. I will post a pic... I am using a new laptop I got myself for xmas,, give me a minute to figure it out..........

Here is the difference in colors. The one I am holding is gen1 and the one on the showbike is gen2. The gen2 plastic has been on the bike stored in A/C shed.
