Hey Guys,

Am I missing a source for these? All of the new ones seem to have the bolt on rings. I have a few sets of old school but would like more for the TIGER and FRANKS racer builds. This 10 inch set (WITH holes drilled)was on ebay a while back but the seller wouldnt ship...after I begged, pleaded, and offered to help after they relisted them several times. I wanted these badly. What's out there?

The solid rings came with the KTM FRANKS

If I have to resort to custom , I will

I have a set like the ones on the right with the holes in the ring. They don't look as if they were done factory though. They are a bit irregular, like they were done by hand, and welded onto the wheels. I love the look they give my 350X. I got them off of an LT20R quad, and then I re-drilled them to fit the Honda pattern. I run a set of paddles on them and they are 10" wheels. They are on my brothers 250R down in Oklahoma right now, but I would be willing to let them go when I get them back this winter. He is to be bringing the R up to me in January for a clutch job with the TRX upgrade kit for it. If you don't come up with anything by then I will get with ya....

OC the wheel rings were made by OMF Products and where installed to usually Mitchell wheels or DID wheels. The ones with the holes was a stage one ring and the stage two had another set of smaller holes. That is who did ours back in the old GNCC racing days and they ares still around http://www.omfperformance.com/reinforced_wheels_sq.php. The set on my Mini Tiger A+70 came off my old race bike and where used in the early 90's.

I know your a true restorer, down to the last bolt:

But why not have a couple hollow circles cut out on a water table and welded on a set of plain wheels?

Just a thought :D

I have no issue with that at all.....when it comes to wheels, its the "look" i'm going after and would rather have new polished wheels than trying to restore old gouged and scratched ones!!! Just looking to simply it and Blue may have done that for me!!!
