big red 200es rear(break?) light question

is the rear light itself only meant to work when the brakes are hit? or is it on 24/7 when the machine is on? pretty sure my bulb is shot and havent had time to buy a new one so i would like to know for when i put it in.

It is a tail-light..meant to be on when the headlamps are on only.

No brake switches on the trikes..any of the years/models to the best of my knowledge. None of mine do..

So no to the brake light question.

Only meant to be a tail light when the trike is on, but it's not hard to rig up a brake light, but you can't really do that with the stock tail light set up though.
