View Full Version : Kenda FrontMax a Good Tire?

im lookin at gettin a Kenda FrontMax for my 200x. from the reviews ive read, everyones 50/50 on their opinions. some say they suck, others that have put them on their 350x's say they work great. what do you think?

i got one on my 85 R and love it!!! Turns the trike well, at least when the front tire is on the ground!!!! :) wanted to put one on my Z however my local dealer said they didnt make it for my wheel size. :(

alot that ive read says theyre weak cause theyre only 2ply. any experience with it bein weak? do you think i should buy it? its on rockymountainatv for 58.99 for my size, 7 bucks for shipping

also, with this tire, should i run it with a tube? the stock tire size on the 200x is 23.5/8-11. can i run a 23 instead? will the .5 matter at all?

Personally I wouldn't run it with a tube. Being a brand new tire, as long as you clean the rim thoroughly and don't damage the tire when you mount it it shouldn't have any issues with leaking. I would run the 23" tire myself....

well, decided to go with the more aggressive 6ply Kenda Bear Claw fpr $2 more. i live on a gravel road and the guys always put down the big rocks that tear up our tires. so i thought the 2ply might be just too thin
