just bought me a 84 honda 250r

hello new member bryan here , well just like the title says i found me a 1984 honda 250r on ebay for what i thought was a real good price.the bike is all stock needs the carb cleaned and the tank cleaned , probley needs more then that but, thats the fun part about it right .i paid $625 i can provide a ebay link if its ok to do so.

well all i was told was that it will need a tank cleaning and the carb cleaned . has a fresh rebuild on the motor , I had one like this when i was younger , along with a FL250 odessy and a 1984 honda 125R dirtbike that i restored from the ground up .as time passed i sold everything except the aircooled trike .then one day like a dumbarse i sold it also.that was along time ago when i was a teenager .i told myself one day i would own another one ........................well that day has come and now i can do what i wanted to do back then and restore the 250R. i know for sure im going to put the gold rims on it and new plastics .new tires and whatever else it needs. first thing is to get it runnning and make sure the brakes work .then im diving in lol.

looks like you did good to me, i just got one in similar cosmetic shape, but both master cylinders and carb need rebuilt for 700. congrats on a good buy.
