Hey everyone i'm looking for small modifications that can help the performance of my trike. It already has been geared up and new clutch plates have been instaled. Any help would be appreciated thanks!

83-84 250r rear shock will fit on the linkage and give you a little more rear travel(you dont need the 250r linkage!). Upgrade the front forks to 83-84 250r. 81-82 250r axle and axle bearings. Those suspension mods shouldnt cost that much if you stake out ebay for a month or two.

Is the 81-82 250r axle wider then the 200x and how much? I was thinking about widening my 84 200x wheel base also what would I use on it to lengthen the swingarm?

Build or buy a longer aftermarket off of ebay. There are no bolt on honda swingarms that would be an upgrade. You could extend it, thats what alot of people do. I build my own swingarms, it cost me about 100.00 for 6061-t6 1/4" thick aluminum to do a 200x swingarm. I am actually building one right now and will post pics on a different thread when I'm done with it. The 81-82 250r axle is an inch wider on each side I believe. I will measure them tomorrow when I get a chance. I bought new ITP pro wheels that are 3/5 offset that gives my trike an extra inch on both sides. Axle spacers work also but Ive never used them myself, they dont look safe for what I'm doing.

to gain a little width in the rear on my 85 200x i used 300ex hubs. it gained about 2 inches of extra width. i don't really want more than that because i ride trails but it works great and they look a lot better than stock hubs.
