Me an my buddy headed out to the desert to do some mashing and bashing on our toys. He brought his 200x and I had my Tecate of course. Both were tuned up and running about as good as it gets. As is usual I measured out 8oz of oil for 2 gallons of gas and mixed it up, double checking that it was 8oz. Poured it in, let the bike warm up for a few minutes and then we headed out.

Crossed over an old water channel and mashed the gas to turn and burn when my bike just spit and popped at me, then bogged way down. Turned back towards camp and only made it about 500ft before it just gave up entirely. My buddy towed me back on his 200x. Words cannot describe at just how pissed I was. Seems like these Tecates only crap out on you at the desert- apparently I haven't worked out all the bugs..

An hour later I couldn't figure out what was wrong so we decided just to mash his 200x. Got out the camera and snapped off some pics of my buddy and him of me going off this bump/berm thing we found nearby.

^Superstition Mountain in the background. We were at Plaster City OHV grounds, good thing too. Could see PLENTY of activity at Super, and of course we wanted to avoid the Rangers as well...

Wish I could have gotten some pics of me launching his bike off of a pretty big gap.. Now that was almost scary on just a modest 200x.. Was pinned 4th gear in order to clear it..

Found out the Tecates stator went bad, so hopefully Rickys 1 year warranty covers it- I don't have long...

That looks like a good spot for some fun, sorry bout the kawi truoble ,but it happens ,thats why I always take a extra trike on every outing ,never know when you might need a spare to keep the fun going, plus every trike has its own personality being 25 years old and all

If I could bring another trike I would have but only having a 2wd Tacoma the bed space was a bit limited

Fit a Tecate and a 200x comfortably, just gotta remember to pinch off the Tecates oil breather line before wheelieing it in the bed.

trailers are nic to have ,I can put two trikes in the truck and 4 on the trailer or put the kids quad in the truck then trikes on the trailer , looking to get a bigger trailer, my buddys holds 6 quads and 2 dirtbikes he pulls it with a fullsize bronco .. why does the oil breather leak? not to familer with the kawi,s only had one a 200 didn't really like it sold to farmer ..

I believe it leaks because it's at the rear of the engine on top, and when I stand the bike up all of the oil flows back and through the breather.

Easy to clean up though, just throw a ton of sand in the truckbed then wash it out when I get come

I need something bigger than a modest 4 cylinder to tow more than 2 bikes though  Otherwise it'd be burning gas like crazy..
