still lose spark

my 84 200es big red still loses spark after a cdi box (was told it was good)and a new coil,what next, a stator?:mad:

I had the same problem on my 83 185s my ignition stator coil behind the flywheel was bad and there is an easy way to see if yours is bad. Take a meter and plug the positive into the black and red wire and the negitive into the green wire if it dosnt reed anything thats whats wrong. Oh and also you do the plugging into the connection that sits right next to the carb.
