I have posted a few questions in the nube discussion forum and realized I should Introduce myself. I live in s.e. Pa, & just bought a 1985 KLT 160. First 3 wheeler ever. Found this site by searching for parts which I'm learning are hard to find. I have always (since the 80's) referred to 3 wheelers as trikes, I was told recently ( by a young-in) that a "trike" is a street legal 3 wheeler and a "3 wheeler" is an off-road vehicle. I thought they both referred to 3 wheelers and were interchangeable? I know they are called ATC's (all terrain cycle's), I'm sure someone can enlighten me! Thanks

if it's got 3 wheels it's a trike to me... keep an eye on CL for other 160's they tend to pop up there cheap in your area, tri-state.

I use trike, tri-pod, three wheeler, etc when I'm talking about these things, but I only use the term ATC when I am talking about a Honda, because it was their licenced name and only theirs. Welcome to 3WW!
