So you can go out and buy an 88-92 style reed cage, like a moto tassinari or rad valve off a yz 125, and it will bolt up to the tri-z?

I guess if a stock 125 one would work, wouldnt an aftermarket one too? The peformance gains would be awesome for a bolt on.

yeah that is cool i just ordered boysen pro series reeds using the yz 125 part number if you look it up for tri z all u can get is the normal boysen power reeds. for almost 50$ they better work good.

a lot of rad valves have an intake manifold built in,and what if it has a diifferent angle or its set up for a 38mm carb, might not work, duncan makes a reed cage for the tri-z, i would try that it will work.

I dont know the web site, but duncan advertises in every dirtwheels mag,so you should be able to get the number there,it'sone of their pyramid reed valves. hope that helps
The website is www.duncanracing.com . I didn't see any pyramid cages for a Tri-Z.

Hey I just thought about something, we can use yz 125 reed spacers too.

The TriZ with its boost bottle setup is one of the best out there. If you get anything beyond the standard fiber reeds (Boyson Power Reeds) your not likely to gain anything but a lighter wallet, and reed spacers on the TriZ have been know to detract from performance.
